Ashton Kaine is receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and minors in Studio Art and Game Design in May of 2024. Throughout her academic journey at Louisiana Tech, she has had the opportunity to use the knowledge learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world freelance projects.

Her two minors have enabled her to explore various mediums, both digital and physical. Some favorites include ceramics, woodworking, and 3D modeling. Most importantly, working with so many mediums has allowed her to realize and explore her passion for finding connections between the disciplines. Viewing her graphic design work through the lens of finding connections is integral to her approach.

Currently, she is working at Artworx Mural and Design, in Ruston, Louisiana.

Ashton’s goal is to continue learning, inspired by the words of Corita Kent, who said, “The only rule is work.”
